Larry Lohrman, Real Estate Photographer, joins host Scott Sheppard to discuss some tips and his workflow in producing images that helps sell real estate. Larry began as an avid photographer whose wife sold real estate and ultimately his hobby and support for his spouse has allowed him to pursue his passion as a photographer specializing in interiors and 360 photography.

Larry also maintains a popular blog on the subject and recently released an e-book titled “Photography for Real Estate - How to Use Photography to Effectively Market Real Estate”, which covers a range of topics including suggested gear, workflow, staging, shooting guidelines, and putting together virtual property tours.

Larry also discusses some tips on how to get the best pictures of the property, proper use of wide angle lenses, and applications he uses to put together his virtual tours as a slideshow making it easier for potential buyers to view the site on any computer configuration. He also discusses considerations for image modifications that could impact the impression given to the potential buyer. His websites also have excellent examples of 360 panoramic photography.

Vincent Versace, Photographer, Trainer, Author, and one of Nikon’s Legend Behind the Lens joins host Scott Sheppard to discuss "artifacting" and how-to implement a non-destructive workflow.Vincent spends a lot of his time shooting in remote locations and shares some tips he’s collected from first hand experiences on how to manage an efficient workflow. Since he shoots in RAW and is very adamant about preserving the overall integrity of his master image file, Vincent works hard and developing and streamlining a non-destructive workflow.

Hear his tips on how he sets up his images and adjustments by layers and things to consider about the elements of the image before he applies any levels of conversions. This maintains the highest quality result and final master image file with the least amount of artifacting or loss of quality among the many steps from capture to final output including color correction.

Vincent also reminds us the importance of taking and keeping notes and discusses how he annotates the many elements of his file. He also gives some points on proofing your fine prints and adjusting to the medium prior to final fine art output.
