Michael Grecco - Entertainment Photographer

Michael_Grecco_Headshot07.jpgMichael Grecco the award winning Portrait Photographer and Author joins host Scott Sheppard for an inside look on his work shooting celebrities and portraits for advertising and editorial assignments. After beginning his career as a photojournalist he soon realized his passion for portraits and pursued his vision. He is known for dynamic portraiture and capturing the essence of his subjects.

greccobook_1.jpg Currently based in Hollywood/Los Angeles, CA Michael shares his experiences working with his clients, transitioning his editorial and print work from traditional to digital workflows, and Michael’s choice of workflow and photographic gear. Michael is often interviewed in photo magazines, journals, and his own books including; “The Art of Portrait Photography”, “Lighting and the Dramatic Portrait”, and is now completing work on “Naked Ambition - An R rated look at an X rated industry”, to be published Fall 2007.

Renee Byer - 2007 Pulitzer Prize Winner

Hear Renee describe her experiences as a photographer on news desk assignment and how she prepares and aligns herself with her stories. Learn about her current equipment and what new technologies are being implemented to help journalists like Renee expand coverage of events.

Derek MadsenThis April, Renee was awarded the coveted Pulitzer Prize for her feature story called “A Mother’s Journey” that chronicled a year in the life of Cyndie French and her son Derek Madsen who ultimately lost his battle with neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer in May 2006.
