Listen NOW…

America’s premier Wedding Photojournalist, Denis Reggie, joins host Scott Sheppard for some insight on participating in the MS Pro Photo Summit and an update on his latest projects. Dennis describes his approach to shooting weddings, his favorite gear (Canon), on-site staff, and his digital workflow tools that include processing in Adobe Lightroom and uploading to his lab - Pictage.

Dennis explains that after 1,800 weddings he still sees each event as a chance to seek out great moments, not force them to happen. He only spends an average of 15 to 20 minutes gathering the standard posed shots and spends the rest of the event capturing photojournalistic candid shots. Taking over 8,000 images per wedding using his method, he chooses the best 1,000 to share with the brides. His inspiring images have gained him accolades and attention with appearances on the Today show, Entertainment Tonight, and Oprah. American Photo and Town & Country magazines consider him to be one of the greatest wedding photographers of our day. See his images at: http://www.denisreggie.com

In addition to his outstanding wedding work, Denis also shares his tips and techniques in hands-on small group workshops which he calls "Conclaves on Digital Wedding Photojournalism" that are held regularly in two-day hands-on sessions at his home in Atlanta, GA.
