Conference Technical Chair for the Photoshop World Conference & Expo, author of numerous Photoshop training DVDs, and in his spare time the co-host of PhotoshopTV returns to Inside Digital Photo for a lively discussion with host Scott Sheppard on his new book and soon to be patented new training methodology “The Photoshop 7 Point System”.

5155avo6lzL._AA240_.jpgScott, the definitive resource for all things Photoshop, reviews his 7 simple steps on how to take an image from “flat to terrific”. He feels that once you know these basic steps you can easily work an image from capture to complete easily and consistently. Scott Kelby realized that there are many photographers do not work in Photoshop every day and even though they may have taken a course or experienced it, without repetition and practice getting around this often complex application is not always easy to navigate.

pv_stockholm_graduation.jpgScott shares notes about his popular blog; www.photoshopinsider.com, and his experiences with the latest line of Epson printers and the new Canon 5D camera. Known as a Nikon shooter, Scott Kelby discusses his experiences using Canon gear. Scott wraps up the interview with some details about their recent consolidation of his multiple media, training, and other information outlets under Kelby Training and talks about DigitalPhotoandArt.com, where his images are now available for purchase online. This site is a collaborative effort showcasing the work of several photographers including Jim DiVitale, Bert Monroy, and Ben Willmore. Scott is donating 100% of the proceeds from the sale of his prints on this site to “Springs of Hope Kenya”, an organization dedicated to helping orphaned and homeless children in Kenya.
