Listen NOW…
Join us this week for another edition in our series showcasing the passion found within today’s top photographers brought to Inside Digital Photo by Epson. Vincent Versace, Photographer, Trainer, Author, and one of Nikon’s Legend Behind the Lens joins host Scott Sheppard to continue discussing his experiences field testing with the Nikon D300 and tips on traveling with your gear and selecting the right gear for shooting on location.
This week, Vincent talks about the details of his recent photo safari throughout Asia and his tips on what gear and accessories he packed in preparation for his remote shoot. Vincent explains key considerations in choosing the right gear not only to be prepared on-site but also key tips on packing them for traveling through the airport, dealing with security scans, and while getting to the actual shoot location. Simple ideas such as choice of bag, lens and filter converters/compatibility, keeping a list with serial numbers just in case local security delays your arrival or departure.
Vincent, a seasoned photographer, who shoots on location shares tips about working with the local community who may not be familiar with high-end photography equipment and technology. More on this topic will be coming up in upcoming segments.
