David shares his experiences in transitioning their studio from film to digital workflows. After testing the capabilities and successfully addressing any moiré issues, David now confidently shoots digital with his traditional camera modified with a Leaf digital camera back, a decision that allows him to continue to use his large collection of lenses while still using the camera body that his is most familiar with. David also shares some tips on lighting individual product shots.

Richard Burke, Photo & Imaging Expert, eHow.com joins Inside Digital Photo to provide some tips on how photographers can prepare themselves for rigors involved in industrial photo assignments. Richard has a broad background in imaging, both in printing and photography.
As a commercial photographer working for Westinghouse, Richard shares his first-hand experiences shooting steel mills, factories, and other industrial locations. Richard explains that these assignments are not only taxing on yourself but also on your equipment. Industrial environments can create unusual hostile temperatures, humidity, altitude, or other issues so Richard advises to find out in advance what you might encounter.
