Cliff MautnerWedding Photographer Cliff Mauntner, a Nikon Legend Behind the Lens and recently named one of the "Top 10 Wedding Photographers by American Photo", joins host Scott Sheppard to share his background and experiences on his journey to becoming one of the top shooters in his field.

Cliff explains that his background as a photojournalist with the Philadelphia Inquirer gave him the experience and style he needs to stay fresh and adapt to his current wedding assignments. Cliff shares some of the lessons he learned about evaluating available assignments and seeing each opportunity as a learning experience helping to hone his skills.

CMLightingHe also explains his transition from shooting film to digital, which took about 3 years and he has now been shooting digital since 2006. Cliff discusses some benefits of shooting film but now prefers to focus his work behind the lens of his Nikon D3. Using the capabilities of the D3, Cliff feels he is able to capture images that were not possible especially in low-light conditions when shooting film.
