Stephen Johnson, returns to Inside Digital Photo to explain some of the history and develop he was involved in during the onset of digital imaging. Stephen has worked with digital tools and provided invaluable insight from a photographer’s perspective as well as acting as a digital spokesperson for companies including Adobe, Apple, Ricoh, Leaf, Kodak and most others. Steven was instrumental in developing the daily digital applications, including Photoshop, that most photographers use today. He also shares a glimpse of his current digital tools. He is a Canon Explorer of Light and uses Canon for his small format but of course he also creates his work on medium and large format backs. He also points out that in many cases medium and large format gear is more accesible than people think as there are many cost effective used equipment options available.
Stephen is also a popular instructor and trainer with his "Stephen Johnson Photography’s Digital Workshop Program". The workshops are conducted in his studio or on location and cover topics including professional image editing, fine art digital printing, and on-site classes in Yosemite or Death Valley.
