Erin Manning / The Whole Picture

4931emanning1.5.jpgErin Manning, Photographer & Host of DIY Networks’ “The Whole Picture” television program, joins host Scott Sheppard to share the latest update on her popular show. The Whole Picture recently won 3 Telly Awards for several key episodes. The show focuses on teaching people how to get the most of their digital cameras, basic photographic techniques, and what to do with the pictures once they are captured. Erin enjoys taking pictures of people, her background includes working as a commercial, portrait, and stock photographer, as well as working for Getty Images. She just completed her new book, “Portrait and Candid Photography” coming out this fall along with some courses and workshops.

363152.jpgErin shares some tips on new products designed for consumers that make it easier to get better photographs and better prints. Find out what equipment she uses for her work, her thoughts on organizing digital images, and insights into her workflow. Erin’s fresh approach to photography breaks down complicated concepts making them easy to understand and try immediately.

She is spending this summer traveling the Mediterranean on ship with Crystal Cruise Lines teaching workshops to their passengers on how to take better pictures of their vacation. She also gives Inside Digital Photo an update on the growing scrap booking industry, which of often centers on photography as the preferred form of memory making. Erin will be teaching several seminars in the fall at key scrap booking conferences.
